Heritage Post & Beam builds timber-frame barns and outbuildings. The company says each of its barns is customized to the buyer's needs and that buyers are encouraged to take part in the design process, and it describes itself as 25 years in business. A recent Google customer credited Mike and Don with hard work through a rough winter to get their barn done, and called Mike a proper craftsman. A 2026 customer who shopped around with several barn builders said Mike attended town variance meetings with the customer and was always available to answer questions. That 2026 customer also wrote that Mike had actually built many of the barns the customer mentioned along the shoreline, and that the barn came in significantly less expensive than competitors with much larger operations. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0562485, held by Heritage Post & Beam, as expired.
