We are part of a three-family condo association with property on the shores of Mooselookmeguntic Lake in ME from which we draw our water. Although we recently replaced our water pump — doubling from 1/2 to 1 hp — our water pressure has been a significant problem that two plumbers failed to resolve. Bob Taylor of High Point Mechanical was recommended to us by a friend. Bob described himself as a problem solver and assured us when he took the job that he would figure it out — and that’s precisely what he did! He eliminated a range of possible explanations and ultimately discovered that our pump had been preset to 35 psi instead of between 50-60 psi. He made the adjustment, which resulted in a major increase in pressure that had dramatically improved the quality of life for three families.
