Home Roofing Solutions

Home Roofing Solutions is a roofing company that says it has been in business for 25 years. Its website lists a service area running from Portland, Lewiston and Brunswick to Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Houlton. A recent r/Maine commenter said the company replaced all the shingles and flashing on their roof quickly and that the price was fair. In a 2025 r/Maine post, a commenter said Dan worked with their insurance to get the whole side of the roof replaced, and that the roof was tarped until the work could start. In 2024, an r/Maine commenter wrote that they signed with the company after getting 5 quotes, and that it was not the cheapest but was the most thorough. In March 2026 an r/Maine commenter warned against hiring the company, saying it had to come back to their home 4 times and did a full replacement because the first attempt was poorly done. In a separate 2026 r/Maine post, a commenter said their first shingle estimate from the company was around $38,000 and called it the most expensive by far.
