A 2023 customer who named John Anderson as the owner of Husky Windows in Bolton, CT said a bow window ordered through Alside and installed by Husky Windows had a glide track that caused the window to bind and trim on the sashes that did not fit properly. “Husky Window”
John from Husky Windows did a phenomenal job on our kitchen window replacement. John works with attention to detail, competent craftsman and takes pride in doing a excellent job!! He is very careful to clean up throughly after his work, he also to care of throwing the old stuff away for us! We highly recommend him! 5 stars all around!!!
John did an amazing job on my parents windows. I recommended him after doing a project at my own house a few years ago for new sliders, and 10 windows. Very thorough, local guy, that takes his time explaining everything, not like your normal 2 hr window estimate that is dreadful. Would highly recommend him for patio or windows
Do more research before getting involved with Alside Berlin Ct. I had John Anderson owner of Husky Windows, Bolton Ct. come in September of 2021 to give us an estimate for 2 double hung windows and a bow window for the living room. We hired Husky Windows to install. John said that there was a 10 week backlog for the bow window because of covid, which was ordered through Alside manufacturing Berlin Ct. I was good with that. Six months later John Anderson (Husky Windows) called me to tell me that the bow window had arrived and to make an appointment to install all the windows. We made an appointment for May to install. When they were installed the bow window(from Alside) had issues with the screws that held the bottom window glide track would get hung up a caused the window to bind. Another issue was with the fit and finish on the trim that secured the sashes. The ends of the trim didn’t fit properly and is a safety issue due to possible cutting from sharp pertruding ends. Alside sent out their representative to assess the issues. The glide track issue was some what fixed but the trim issue with the sashes was to new sashes made and replaced. When Alsides rep.came to replace the sashes there was one missing because they ordered the wrong one. That fact didn’t matter because the trim was no better than the originals. This all took place in November 2021. We reached out to Ed at Alside in Berlin Ct. to see if we could get a partial refund for this issue. After countless efforts to contact Ed at Alside by phone and email with minimal response. Pretty much gave us the line we’ll you into it and be back in touch. It’s been going on three months and no response back after countless times to get in touch but nothing. Another thing John Anderson owner of Husky Windows Bolton Ct did not go to bat with Alside for us but had us deal with the issue ourselves. To this day 01-20-2023 haven’t heard back from anyone. Do your research and stay from Husky Windows Bolton Ct and Alside Manufacturing Berlin Ct. 👎🥴 They are both a joke
John was very helpful. He was very informative about the windows and options. He saved us a ton of money for a great service.
