Imperial Landscaping's 20 Google reviews split into two very different stories. One is warm and specific: "George" is named by name in review after review, credited with reliable lawn care, thorough spring cleanups, and going out of his way — rescheduling around rain and doing extra work at no charge as an apology for the delay. The other is much rougher, and it centers almost entirely on snow removal. In February 2026, a reviewer described a loader crashing through a garage door during nighttime plowing, along with damage to sidewalks, curbing and underground gas venting. The next month, another said a plow blocked their driveway for two days, piled snow to narrow a street to one lane, and broke trees without finishing the job. A May 2026 review said an inexperienced crew destroyed flowers and landscaping marked not to touch, and called that season's snow removal nonexistent. These aren't isolated: a 2022 review described part of a historic rock wall demolished against instructions and left unfinished, and a 2024 review said a crew blew debris from a neighbor's yard into a customer's porch, furniture and an open basement window, then didn't return to clean it up as promised. Against that, the landscaping side of the business — mowing, mulching, cleanups, even a boulder-removal and trenching job near a pool in 2024 — draws consistent praise, much of it crediting George personally for showing up, following through and communicating well. A property manager for POAH Communities said in a 2025 review that George and Imperial handle both landscaping and snow removal reliably across two properties, and a 2025 review from a customer with a fractured leg said one call got their driveway cleared the same day during a storm. One more thing worth flagging: Imperial's own website markets it as commercial-only, addressed to property managers, with no residential service mentioned anywhere — yet most of the reviews on file describe work at private homes, not commercial properties. For routine lawn care and cleanups, the reviews back George and his crew up directly. For plowing and snow removal — especially anything near structures, cars or landscaping you care about — the recent track record is genuinely mixed, and it's worth asking pointed questions about equipment handling and site protection before booking.
They have been doing my lawn for many years and are very responsive and do a great job.
George is dependable and does great work. He shows up and makes sure the work is getting done and answers any questions too. Thank you for the awesome work and work ethic you have.
Absolutely horrible service! The crew we've seen is extremely inexperienced. Have destroyed flowers and areas that were marked not to touch. They started mowing at 6:30am, it's condominiums!! Snow removal was worse that a joke it was non existent. 100%Do not recommend.
I have no idea about the landscaping skills. But I can say, the snow removal was a joke. They plowed me in, not out for 2 days, piled snow in the street to make it a one lane street broke trees and never finished. The machine sat idle for days now it gone. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!
Crews show up every night at midnight to do snow removal well after storm is over keeping up entire neighborhood with heavy equipment and blocked in someone garage/driveway with a 20 foot pile of snow . Not to mention they crashed a loader through a different garage door, dropped snow onto cars from buckets, destroyed sidewalks and curbing, destroyed in ground gas venting and created a snow farm over it, and drove over and created a different snow pile over the top of a manhole cover in grass. I could go on and on.
