Two of the harshest reviews on Inello Electric's Google page were not written by customers. Both are bystanders describing company vans on the road — one logged a driver's plate number in Charlestown, and a January 2025 post said a driver nearly hit two pedestrians, one walking dogs, in South Boston. Both are about driving, not electrical work. They are also most of what pulls the Revere company's Google average down to 3 stars across nine ratings. The people who actually hired them sound different. A tavern manager writing in late 2024 said they had used the company several times over three years and singled out owner Bob's team; a 2023 reviewer, then a new customer, named a technician, Matt. A 2025 review called them responsive and knowledgeable. All of it is short and general — warm, but hard to check against a specific job. Inello runs residential, commercial and industrial electrical work out of 727 Revere Beach Parkway, with 24/7 emergency service and a stated service area covering North Shore and Boston-area towns. Bobby Inello says he spent more than 30 years as a chief electrical inspector before this. BBB grades the company A+ without accrediting it, and lists 15 employees under manager Robert Inello. Two things to pin down before booking. The tenure story does not line up: the website claims a 40-year track record while BBB lists the business as started in 2012, fourteen years ago. And a 2022 reviewer said a voicemail went unanswered, so get your job confirmed on the calendar rather than waiting on a callback. Worth a call if you want a shop that handles both commercial and residential work and picks up off-hours. Ask for references on jobs like yours — very little has been written about the actual work, and what has is mostly about how the trucks drive.
