In 2016 a homeowner with two large dogs and a yard full of shade trees gave up on grass — mud and moss most of the year — and had 2,200 square feet of IntelliTurf laid instead. A decade on, the same operation is still installing synthetic lawns, now trading as Grass365 of New England. The volume is real. Angi and HomeAdvisor each publish 5.0 from 142 ratings, and Thumbtack adds 4.6 from 14. The BBB grades the business A+ and files it under lawn maintenance. What customers describe is one job done many ways. An August 2025 client went in wary and came out with a putting and chipping green finished in two and a half days. A May 2025 homeowner had spent twenty years failing to grow grass in her backyard before the crew replaced it with synthetic turf. In September 2024 another had turf laid around a pool where nothing but weeds would grow, and made a special request of the installers. And in a 2017 review a customer credited Jeffrey with overseeing the job himself and pushing to finish before the ground froze. Jeff or Jeffrey turns up by name in nearly every account. Two things are worth knowing before you call. Angi and HomeAdvisor carry the same review set, so 142 is one body of comment rather than two independent ones, and the tone barely varies — the lowest recent mark, a four-star from July 2025, reads in full: "The guys came on time and did a good job." And the trading name has moved: reviews from 2016 and 2017 say IntelliTurf, those from 2024 onward say Grass365, so check which entity appears on your contract. This is a specialist rather than a general landscaper — the call to make when grass will not grow, whether that is dogs, deep shade, a pool surround or a backyard short-game green. Ask what goes into the base underneath the turf and what the turf itself is warranted for.
