In a September 2019 Angi review, a customer whose husband is an engineer and woodworker wrote that he judged Scott of Island Painting a meticulous painter. On a house that is partly three stories, Scott painted all the fascia board, did some repairs while he was at it, and even got rid of a bee's nest near the trim he was painting. In October 2021 another Angi customer, writing about an interior painting job of five or more rooms, said Scott was a meticulous painter who went beyond what he had been contracted to do, and planned to keep hiring him for more projects that winter. A July 2019 reviewer said the workers arrived on time and the work was excellent. Island Painting and Carpentry describes itself on Angi as a locally owned and operated company with over 30 years of experience, and its Angi listing offers interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, carpentry and small repairs. It holds a 4.9 rating from four Angi ratings, with a written history that runs from 2019 to 2021.
