J&M Landscaping describes itself on its BBB page as a residential and commercial landscaper offering lawn and property maintenance, irrigation repairs and installation, and landscape design; that page shows an A+ grade. Firewood is the other half of the story. A recent Google customer said this was their fourth firewood order in a row from J&M, and that it was affordable and promptly delivered. A 2026 customer said firewood was sold out everywhere else, the only wood J&M had left was kiln dried, and Joe said they would love it; that customer said it burns much cleaner and hotter. A 2026 customer wrote that firewood was delivered to their home quickly, right before a major storm. A 2022 customer said a cord was delivered exactly at the time scheduled, with most of the wood reading around 15% on their meter, at a little higher price than some others in the area. On the landscaping side, a 2023 customer said they had lawn care done along with landscaping. A 2024 customer said a cord order came with lots of asphalt and was not a full cord. A 2022 customer said they made an appointment for firewood delivery and they never showed up. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0574736, as active, held by J & M Landscaping.
