The through-line in what customers write about J.B. Kitchens & Baths is a name: whoever they worked with. In a November 2021 review a couple thanked Cheryl, their designer, for laying out the cabinets and counters, explaining the details and raising things they had not thought of, and for returning calls promptly. In June 2022 a repeat client — second job, whole house in progress — described Tom and Will calling every day or two with where the schedule and inspections stood, and said the absence of panic was the point. The business is a cabinetry and countertop showroom at 1202 Main Street in Weymouth, trading as J.B. Enterprises, Inc. with John Browne as president and ten people on staff. The BBB records a 2001 start and 25 years in business and grades it A+, with nothing filed against it, though it is not BBB accredited. Houzz shows 19 project sets, a Houzz Award and two badges, and puts typical jobs between $3,000 and $70,000 — a range that says this is as much a place to buy cabinets for one room as to run a full renovation. Worth knowing: only two written reviews are on the directories, both from 2021-2022, so the picture is consistent but thin and none of it is recent. A Birdeye page aggregating Google reviews carries a customer's account of working with a designer named Emily who coordinated with their own contractor to keep the job on schedule — a useful second read, but treat it as an unverified web listing rather than a checked source. If you are buying cabinetry and want a designer to draw the room and work alongside your own builder, that is what these accounts describe. Ask which designer you would be assigned, whether the installation is theirs or yours to arrange, and for two recent local jobs you can look at.

“We worked with Emily at JB Kitchens & Baths and she is phenomenal. It was our first time doing a major renovation and Emily took the time to walk us through the many options and worked seamlessly with our contractor to get the project scheduled and completed on time.”
This is my second time with Tom and Will, wouldn’t have gone back if I’d any doubt about them or their work. Right now my whole house is in their hands, they know the right people and stand behind their work. I get a call if not every day then every other to let me know where they are in their timetable/ inspections or even just to check in and say it’s all working out. I love that there is no panic because they know what they’re doing, they have it in hand, they’re professional and you can’t beat that. I’m really grateful for them. Their business cards are being handed out, my realtor being the first one!
Just wanted to thank Cheryl at JB Kitchens & Baths. Can't say enough good things about her. She was our designer for a kitchen remodel. The level of her expertise was outstanding. She helped us in the layout of our new cabinets & countertop explaining all the details and suggested things that we should consider - things we had not even thought of. She was very responsive to our needs & always returned our calls in a timely manner answering any questions we had. Above all, she was very professional, knowledgeable & personable. I don't think our new kitchen would look as good as it does without her input. I would recommend Cheryl without reservation to anyone thinking of remodeling their kitchen. Can't thank her enough.
