On Angi, J III Remodeling describes itself as a family-owned company that has served Ansonia and the surrounding area since 1998, doing small additions, kitchen, bathroom, garage and basement remodels and decks. A local news site, nhregister.com, has reported that Hunt, the sole member of J III Remodeling LLC, was charged after officials received four consumer complaints in 2007 and 2008, with homeowners from Danbury, Stratford and Shelton claiming Hunt did shoddy work or didn't finish work on their houses. A 2007 customer said that, per the contract, the work was to finish by February 28, yet it was May and still not finished, and that he never showed up for a few weeks and came up with many excuses. A 2010 customer said the work was not completed, the specified materials were not installed, and the exhaust fan installed was not ducted to the exterior.

Didn't complete work. Didn't install specified materials. Exhaust fan installed was not ducted to the exterior.
I would not recommend him to anyone else because he never shows up for a few weeks and he comes up with so many excuses. Per contract, he would finish by Feb. 28th yet now it is May and still not finished. We are worried when he will be finished because there is no room for all of us at this time. I am very big disappointed in him big time.
