J M Candee Sanitation says it started out in 1981 with just a pickup truck servicing residential houses, and that it now runs a fleet of trucks serving residential and commercial customers, including churches, schools, horse farms and contractors. The company describes itself as longtime Easton residents, and the service area on its website lists Fairfield, Easton, Newtown, Monroe, Trumbull, Redding, Bethel, Westport and Weston. A 2025 Google customer who was farm sitting said they had called on a Sunday for a manure dumpster to be picked up, and were texted that the company would be there the next morning, on a holiday.
