In a 2017 review, a customer described J Reis Painting's work on an 1892 Victorian home: wooden clapboards and shingles were replaced as needed, and the house was power-washed, scraped, sanded, caulked, primed and given two final coats of a custom color. That 2017 customer said Jose estimated the job would take three weeks and completed it as planned. A 2019 customer said the company painted a living room, hallway and bathroom, removed wallpaper in the hall and whitewashed a fireplace. A 2017 customer was happy with exterior paint work, old trim replacement and deck refinishing. A 2017 reviewer wrote that he did all he said he would, including complicated exterior wood repairs. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.3 stars from 15 ratings. A 2019 customer said the company came back a second time to fix what was not done correctly and still did not get it right. A 2020 customer called the painting great but the carpentry work horrible. A 2017 customer said calls were not returned and it took more than 3 days after the job to put an outdoor table and grill back on the deck.

Jose was very professional, polite, did what he said, very respectful of my home and time. His staff were the exact same. The job came out perfect. I've already hired him to return next month for the kitchen and he will return again for bathroom. He's great. We will also use him for other homes and I will be recommnding him to everyone. Home advisor, be proud he is listed on your site.
Interior Painting or Staining: 5 + RoomsBeware... if you want a professional paint job this company is far from it. Jose promises you he will make sure everything is taken care of and supervisor his guys to make sure the job is done correctly. He doesn t show up or keep his promise. They had to come back a second time after supposedly they did the job right the first time and I gave them a second chance to fix what was not done correctly and they still didn t do it right. This company is a joke and I will NEVER give them business.
I hired J Reis Painting to paint my living room, hallway and bathroom. This included removing wallpaper in the hall as well as painting over stained board and batten in the living room. They also white washed my fireplace. These guys are absolutely amazing and I can't wait to have them back for another job. Jose is very friendly and professional. He does exactly what he says he will and his team are professionals, too. They show up on time and are extremely neat, organizing the work area each day before they leave. My home has been completely transformed and we're enjoying Jose's work everyday now. I can't say enough about how nice of a job they do and how polite and professional they all were in my home. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and will be having them back. Paul Anderson
