We could not be happier with the new Blue Stone steps that Jon (JDI Construction) and his crew installed. Jon is very professional and knowledgable. The workmanship was exceptional and the price was right. The job was completed in a timely manner with no mess left behind. No need to go searching for other Contractors, this is where the search stops.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon JDI when they were doing work on a house at the end of my street. I received 4 quotes on Lally column replacements and sump pump repairs before JDI came to see the job. Being pretty “handy” I was mortified in the lack of knowledge and consistency the 4 other contractors showed. John from JDI was professional and confident, and answered my many questions with ease. He took the time to educate me on the process which I was impressed by. When they came and did the work, I was more impressed. One and a half days for 5 Lally columns with footings, beam replacement, new sump pump pit and basin, foundation repair and water main exposure. He also took it upon himself to button up some shotty repairs he’s stumbled upon across the way. I’ve worked with many contractors professionally and have yet to see this type of proficiency and efficiency. Needless to say the job came out wonderful and I was happy to hand over their well earned pay, which I will add his pricing is extremely competitive and fair. Do not hesitate to hire these guys, I’m sure I will be using them again in the future.

We have used JDI Construction for masonry work for a decade on all types of projects from small repairs to major reconstruction to structural repairs. Often, the work has needed approval from the Historic Society or oversight by an engineer. We have always found JDI responsive to other parties involved and the quality of work is always superb. The owner is very hands on and actually will be on sight working along side with his employees. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
