Jeremy Hiltz Excavating is a Bristol, New Hampshire excavation and site-work contractor operating from three NH locations - Bristol, Ashland and New Hampton. BBB records a business start in 1996, 30 years in business and Jeremy Hiltz as owner, and says the company offers residential, commercial and industrial excavation services. Most of its visible work is heavy: bridge replacement, site work, site clearing, sidewalks and utility distribution, with a Procore listing describing 10 to 50 employees and an average contract size in the millions. Its own site's front page is a Town of New Hampton bridge replacement, which tells you where the weight of the business sits. The homeowner-scale evidence is thin but not absent. A 2022 reviewer called them the best-priced source of sugar sand for a pool liner base in the area and praised the crew; other reviewers between 2022 and 2023 described deliveries handled well, friendly staff and quality work they would recommend. Two things are worth raising before you hire. A 2023 reviewer alleged the owner does not pay his bills and sues instead - an unresolved accusation, not a finding, but the only account on file describing a business dispute. A 2025 reviewer complained about how a loaded company truck pulled into traffic at exit 23. Read the star numbers carefully: Google publishes a 2.9-star average across 65 ratings, but only seven written reviews are retrievable and five of those are positive. The average is built on nearly ten times more raters than the record you can actually read, so ask for recent, local references for the exact job you have in mind.

Maybe teach your 18 wheelers with a full load not to pull out in front of traffic on exit 23 . Common sense really helps to prevent accidents. Thanks

He don't pay his bills. Instead he brings you to court. Yes. You got that right. He don't pay. Then wants to sue 🙄 😆
