Jim did my entire kitchen in Hickory and a Shaker design around 1980. I was able to visit his shop as the cabinets were being made. I was fussy about the knobs and he made samples of Shaker design. The cabinets are over 40 years old and are in magnificent condition. He transformed my 1827 schoolhouse coat room into a charming warm Shaker kitchen. I will never forget the experience and it will someday be enjoyed by the National Trust. In capsule form, there is none better than Jim at cabinetry. Warren p Padla Williamsville Ma. old Schoolhouse.
