The job JM Lux Painting keeps getting called for is an empty house on a deadline. A December 2025 customer had Julio's crew paint the entire interior of a new build — more than 4,000 square feet, ceilings up to 15 feet, all the trim, doors and base. A July 2024 customer had the whole interior of a newly bought home done before they moved in, and in a September 2023 Angi review, someone who lived out of the area found the company on Angi to paint a late parent's house before it went on the market. Julio runs the company from Lawrence. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #216274, is active, and its state Minority Business Enterprise certification, #20250373 through the Supplier Diversity Office, is active with an expiry date of 2028-09-04. Angi and HomeAdvisor both list five years of experience and interior and exterior painting for homes and commercial spaces. Twelve Google ratings average 5 stars, and most of the reviews name Julio himself. An October 2025 customer was on their third project with him and said he explains everything as the work goes. A November 2025 customer who found the company through a Google search and went in wary said he kept them updated every step. A January 2026 customer got an earlier start than expected when they asked, at pricing they called more than reasonable. The work described runs from full interiors — walls, kitchen cabinets, a bathroom vanity and trim in an April 2025 job, bedrooms in 2022, cabinets in another 2022 job — to smaller outdoor work: in July 2026 a deck was stained and painted inside a single day. Customers in July 2023 and April 2025 both mentioned the crew moving furniture out of the way for them. For a whole-interior repaint — an empty house before a move, a new build's ceilings and trim, cabinets that need a different color — this is a straightforward call. Get the timeline for your square footage in writing, and settle up front whether moving and covering furniture is part of the price.
Julio with JM Lux Painting did incredible job with deck stain and paint! Completed everything within a day and quality of work was of high quality!
Julio and his team were absolutely amazing! They were incredibly professional to work with from the time of the estimate to the finished product. Julio was very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions during the estimate, and he and his team did an exceptional job on our interior painting. We hired them to paint the entire interior of our home and now we cannot wait to host our friends and family to show off how fabulous our walls look! I highly recommend booking with JM Lux for your painting needs!
Julio provides exceptional painting services! Easy communication, early availability per our request and great-quality work for more than reasonable pricing.
I had Julio and his crew paint my entire interior of our new build that consisted of high ceilings up to 15' and 4000+ sq feet of total space. All the trim, doors, base etc. All the flooring was down, kitchen and counters were installed, all the doors have black hardware. Amazingly the hardware does not have a speck of paint on them. No idea how they accomplished that! They came in, quickly setup, masking the entire house, the floors, the kitchen and any surface that should NOT have paint was covered. They were quick, very detailed and professional. They did an exceptional job filling in the nail holes, divots in the trim, sheetrock or even in the doors. Other contractors commented on the quality of the work during the painting. I could not be happier with their service. Julio is a very easy guy to talk to and takes customer service seriously. I plan to have them back next summer to help with some outside trim that I need painting. Wonderful crew.
JM Lux Painting was awesome! I found them through a google search so as you might expect I was apprehensive, as I would’ve been no matter who I chose, not knowing them “from a hole in the wall.” Wow, did I luck out! Julio is a great communicator and kept me updated every step of the way, from the start of the project until the very end. He is the most polite contractor I have ever worked with and it was a real pleasure doing business with him. These guys were professional, courteous, and the finished project was nothing short of amazing. I am still in awe with the end results. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
