JP & Son Blacktop Driveways and Sealcoating paves and seals driveways, and it holds 2.8 stars from 5 Google ratings alongside an A+ grade from the BBB. A 2023 customer said rain came right after the driveway was sealed and washed away some of the sealer, and that they returned and completely redid the job. A 2022 customer said they hired J.P.&Son Paving in August 2021, paid $10,000 cash, and saw cracking and crumbling in some areas of the driveway less than a year later. That 2022 customer said John, the owner, promised to take a look, then went weeks without returning calls, and was rude and swearing when he finally called back. A 2022 reviewer said their in-laws paid $12,000 to have their driveway paved and were left with holes in the middle of it, with no response to multiple attempts to get it resolved. A 2024 customer said they ended up with a sinkhole that was blamed on their gutter, and that it came back after a return visit to fix it. That 2024 customer said the garage, which never flooded before, was covered in water whenever it rained.
Ended up with a giant sinkhole, was told it was because of my gutter which is not the case. Came back to fix the issue and there is a sink hole again. Garage never flooded before and now it is completely covered in water whenever it rains. Again was told it was because of my gutters.
Sealed the driveway last week and rain came right after and washed away some of the sealer . They returned today and completely redid the job . Great service and great bunch of guys Great job . Thanks
August of 2021 we hired J.P.&Son Paving. We paid him $10,000 cash. Less than a year later our drive way is showing signs in some areas of cracking ,crumbling .We called John the owner who stated he would come and take a look. We never heard from John after several weeks and made several more phone calls with no return call. When John did return my call he was extremely rude,belligerent, swearing and name calling and stated take me to court. I do not recommend this company. He does not stand by his work.
My InLaws hired them pave there driveway last summer. 12000 dollars later they have legit holes in the middle of there driveway. Made multiple attempts to get the issue resolved and they get no response. These are older people that they are taking advantage of. I would not recommend them. Tail light warranty kind of company! I hate doing this but they have forced the hand by do NOTHING.
