JRC Remodeling is a remodeling company that says it started its business in Berkshire County. A 2024 Houzz reviewer described a project that added stairs to the basement, finished part of the basement as a service kitchen and added new stairs from a porch to the side yard, with subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and HVAC working alongside JRC's own team of carpenters. That 2024 customer said JRC created custom cabinets to match the existing ones, and wrote that JRC was not the least expensive contractor and took a little longer than expected. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 197740, is active on the state registry, with Berkshire Hills K & B LLC as the holder of record. Its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. In a 2024 Houzz review, a customer said JRC finished a basement with a rec room, bedroom, exercise room and bathroom, and installed a new bathroom upstairs. A 2024 Houzz reviewer described a full gut of a bathroom that included removing the tub, replacing the sink, putting in very large windows, some complicated tile work and moving the plumbing. A 2023 Houzz reviewer who got a new kitchen said JRC gave clear explanations for a few unexpected add-ons as structural issues were discovered, and followed through on touch-ups a couple months after the job was done. A 2023 BuildZoom reviewer who hired JRC to redo a kitchen said the job took about three times as long as promised. That 2023 reviewer said the workers made errors and forgot things, such as a cabinet drawer and a stone desk ledge that were not ordered, and that old, moldy wall insulation was removed but no new insulation went into the wall before it was sealed up and the cabinets and countertops were installed. The same 2023 reviewer said the kitchen remodeling itself was good, but called Joe Roth a terrible communicator. That 2023 reviewer wrote that Joe Roth promised a more complicated installation from the outside of the house, repeatedly put off the date, then walked away from the job and would not take phone calls.

JRC remodeled our kitchen for us. They did an amazing job! All of the contractors were great craftsmen and the job got done in a timely fashion.
JRC Remodelling finished a basement for us, building a rec room, bedroom, exercise room and bathroom. In addition they installed a new bathroom upstairs. Joe Roth and his team were excellent: they took great pride in their work, and the result was superb. We are very happy with the result. Their workmanship was terrific, and everything looks better than we imagined. In addition, all the workmen were a pleasure to deal with - they were respectful, considerate and friendly. We were almost sorry to see them complete the job! They listened to what we wanted, and ended up providing us with an excellent result. We were very happy with them and recommend them wholeheartedly for any job they take on.
JRC is very professional. Helpful and was willing to work with my budget and times to get the work done. My kitchen is beaufiful and the floors throughout the halls and dining room and kitchen are beautiful and easy to care for. Joe and Barbara were very easy to work with and made the transformation happen
JRC did an excellent job with several large renovation and construction projects. My home is architecturally unique and I wanted all of the new work to match the original design. They did a great job with that. I added stairs to my basement, finished part of the basement as a service kitchen, added new stairs from a porch to the side yard, and completed several other tasks as well. The work involved managing subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and HVAC as well as JRC's own team of carpenters. Communication was excellent, JRC showed up when they said they would, and they worked diligently until the work was completed. They created custom cabinets to match the existing ones and designed and built a staircase using the same materials that are present in other parts of the house. They were very accommodating and respectful of the property. They were neat and cleaned up the site every day and at the end. They weren't the least expensive contractor I could have chosen but their people are artisans and I received value for the money I spent. They took a little longer than I expected but the result was well worth it.
Joe runs an excellent team of highly skilled employees. They take pride in their work and they get it right. We did a full gut of my bathroom, removing the tub, replacing the sink, putting in very large windows, some complicated tile work, moved the plumbing, the whole kit and caboodle. It's really great and is exactly what I was hoping for. They were also able to fit in some other smaller fixes to my house as we were going which was a great stress reliever to get some other work also out of the way. I have a long list of other projects I'd love to have them work on when the time is right. I highly recommend Joe and his crew, I won't hesitate for a second to have them come back when I'm ready to do more work on my house.
