Kay Landscaping Corporation

Kay Landscaping Corporation works out of 171 Broadway in Methuen, and the pairing it advertises is the useful one: landscaping plus retaining walls, the kind of job where the grading and the wall have to be planned as one piece of work. One thing to sort out before you sign anything. BuildZoom shows a single Massachusetts licence number for the company, #191416, but describes it two different ways — a Landscape Contractor licence in its write-up, a Home Improvement Contractor registration in its licence block. Look that number up on the state's register yourself and ask which licence covers the job you have in mind. For a wall-and-planting project in the Methuen area this is a reasonable call to make. Get the licence question answered, ask for a certificate of insurance, and have the written scope name the wall material, its height and how drainage behind it will be handled before anyone breaks ground.
