Keim Landscape Consulting describes itself on Houzz as a design/build landscape company, and its Houzz profile lists certification as a dry waller with The Stone Trust of America and the Dry Waller Association of Great Britain. A recent customer, writing as a repeat customer, thanks Rob, Zach and Tyler for a yard and patio and calls them very clean workers. In a 2022 review, a customer described a backyard project with stone retaining walls, granite steps, a walkway, a patio, a stone fireplace, a pergola, a small basketball court, some landscaping and lighting, in a fairly small space that needed to be leveled and graded. That 2022 customer said Rob helped with all of the planning and coordinated the pergola and basketball court, which were outside his scope. A 2022 customer hired Rob and his team for stone work in two areas of the home, modeled on wall facades they had seen in Canada and Europe, and said they came home to a spotless environment every day he worked. A 2018 customer described a small project at a new home: removing part of an old cement driveway to widen it, a retaining wall, and cobblestone in place of a portion of the cement, and said he got it just right. A 2018 customer said their new retaining wall, steps and patio area were built while they were out of town, with progress photos messaged to them, and that the job came in a bit under budget. A 2018 customer said the company excavated, put down new loam and seed, laid a new patio and rebuilt the front walkway; that customer said it took a while to get into the queue during a wet spring. A 2018 customer said Rob built a dozen columns in a conference center that stayed open and busy during the work, and that the job was done on time and on budget. A 2015 customer said they designed and built a patio extension, built granite steps, relocated shrubs and improved some drainage, and that the new plantings were doing well two years on. In a 2017 review, a customer who hired Rob to build a walkway and prepare landscaping beds said he asked for the final payment after finishing the brick walkway before winter, promised to come back in the spring to finish, and never came back or returned calls. That 2017 customer said the plastic retainers around the walkway later shifted and popped up because the margins were never filled in.
They are the best at what they do. I am a repeat customer and once again they did a beautiful job. They are very easy to work with and they are very clean workers. I really can’t say enough other then you should hire them to do your project! Rob, Zach, and Tyler, thank you so much for my beautiful yard and patio.
I have the highest praise and offer the highest endorsement for Rob and his team. They completed a big project in my backyard, which involved stone retaining walls, granite steps, a walkway, a patio, stone fireplace, pergola, small basketball court, some landscaping, and lighting. Rob was fantastic about helping me bring my vision to life and figuring out what would work in a fairly small space that needed to be leveled and graded in order for everything to work. He helped with all of the planning and even coordinated parts of the project that were outside of his scope like the pergola and basketball court. He and his team are professional, talented, detail oriented, friendly, and responsive. I'm thrilled with the outcome and will share pictures come spring!
When we first hired Rob and his team, we had a vision of what we wanted but had not thought it through. Rob was able to take us through the process so we knew he understood our vision and we were comfortable. We were looking to enhance our living space in two distinct areas of the home with stone work that resembled certain interior wall facades we fell in love with while vacationing in Canada and Europe. We were able to share some photos and explain what we loved about them. The spacing of the stone was not something you typically see in the US — it was not on trend. What we learned in working with Rob is that he is a stone ARTIST, where every placement is thought out by shape and color and spacing. We can tell you that he FAR EXCEEDED our expectations and we could not begin to say ENOUGH about his professionalism and craftsmanship. Every day that he worked we came home to a spotless environment. He was ALWAYS punctual and in communication. Just superb. A hundred thumbs up!
I have known Rob Keim for a number of years in a professional setting and that is what he is and has always been - professional. He has a great eye for detail and problem solving. When I bought my new home, I had a small project but I really wanted Rob's expertise. We had to remove part of an old cement driveway to widen it and put up a retaining wall. I was sure the cobblestone that would replace a portion of the cement would always look 'funny', but he got it just right and it seems like it was always there and intentional. We love it! He has a great crew and they are always polite, respectful and professional, too. I have never hesitated to recommend Rob's work!
Rob and crew were excellent to work with and the job was completed swiftly and exceeded our expectations! We appreciated Rob's ideas and guidance to turn an unfinished area into a beautiful approach to our home. We get many compliments!
