Kennedy Paint and More is a Brockton painting outfit run by John Kennedy, doing interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses around the Boston area — and, more than once, stepping in for emergency work outside a typical paint job. One review from July 2026 describes exactly that: after a ceiling leak from heavy rain, John Kennedy and his team worked quickly on short notice when the homeowner's original repair contractor fell through. That pattern of showing up fast and finishing what's promised runs through the rest of the record — reviewers from 2025 repeatedly single out punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail, describing a door repaired 'flawlessly' alongside a full-house repaint, and a kitchen that 'looks brand new' after the crew was done. The company says it's been operating for about 10 years. Across 13 Google reviews from 2025 into 2026, the account is consistently strong — timely, respectful, hands-on work that customers say they'd hire again and refer to others. One 4-star review from July 2025 stands out as an outlier, though: its wording ('the best place to spend your time... you will be automatically addicted') doesn't read like it's actually describing painting work, so it may not belong to this business at all. BuildZoom's directory profile lists painting as Kennedy's only listed service and notes it could not verify a contractor license for the company — worth a direct question before signing anything, though Massachusetts doesn't require registration for interior-painting-only work. For interior or exterior painting around Brockton — and apparently the odd emergency repair too — the reviews describe a responsive, detail-oriented crew; just confirm licensing and insurance directly, and take that one outlier review with a grain of salt.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would gladly! John Kennedy and his team worked quickly and professionally to help us on a very short notice. Our home we have rented out currently had a ceiling leak after the recent heavy rain we had and our previously contracted repair team never came out to complete the work after evaluating the ceiling after letting a week go by. But Kennedy Painting? Absolutely stellar. They came out the next day although it was Independence Day weekend and had the work completed in no time. Thank you so much for saving us and our poor renters, a big headache. We appreciate your hard work so much!
Nice guy, loves to laugh . Hire him you will not be surprised.
I am incredibly pleased with Kennedy Paint Company's outstanding service. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, their team demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a clear commitment to excellence. The work scope included a door repair and a full-house painting project. The door was repaired seamlessly, restoring both its function and appearance. The painting was executed with remarkable precision and attention to detail; every wall, trim, and surface was perfectly finished. The quality of artistry has genuinely transformed my home, giving it the appearance of being brand new. Equally impressive was their respect for my property. The crew maintained a clean and organized work environment throughout the project and ensured that everything was left spotless upon completion. Kennedy Paint Company takes great pride in its craft, and its dedication is reflected in the results. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking high-quality painting and repair services done right the first time. It went through
