A few days ago I just moved, and as a single mom, moving was overwhelming, but Charlie, the Moving Consultant at King Movers, made the entire process so much easier. He was patient, answered all of my questions, a good Christian that helped and explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood every step. He followed up before and after the move, and the crew arrived on time and handled everything with care and professionalism. Knowing Charlie was there to help gave me peace of mind during a very stressful time. I truly appreciate his dedication and the excellent service from King Movers & Storage. I had a wonderful experience working with Charlie, the Moving Consultant, who listened to all of my needs from the very beginning. We went through my entire inventory together, and he guided me through the entire process from A to Z. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and he provided me with a fair and detailed estimate that gave me confidence in choosing King Movers. On the day of the move, Charlie followed up both before and after the move to make sure everything went smoothly. Wonderful service from Chris and two other guys (sorry I didn't catch names!). They arrived earlier than scheduled but were flexible about adjusting their plan around my finishing up the last-minute packing. Chris coordinated between me and the others which streamlined the process. His chill vibe, offers to help, and friendly chatting made the whole moving day less stressful. I am remarkably relaxed considering the monumental job that moving always is, and my chronic pain and inflammation are not unusually high like I would expect! They stayed until after dark even though my move was their second for the day and put all of my furniture, boxes, bags, and everything else in their places. They wrapped fragile items like mirrors and TVs and had no issues taking lamps and other odd items like my wheelchair. They were flexible and patient when we had issues with the locks in the new building. When I asked, they even moved around some furniture in the old place that was staying behind. So glad I went with King! Joe and Myles on the admin/planning side were also very helpful and responsive in proactively contacting me and providing an invoice in advance on relatively short notice. Most of the weight estimates on the invoice seemed very high, but maybe that's just in case they're heavier than expected. Overall, though, they were great. There were some delays in getting the arrival time scheduled which is stressful at the last minute. This was partially due to my having to wait for approval elsewhere, but I wish King would have settled on a time before that happened so I could be better prepared. I originally asked for not before 9 or 10 AM. When I called the office on the afternoon before my move, I was told it was scheduled at 8 AM. Then I got a call from the dispatcher saying the only time available was between 1 and 3 PM, otherwise I would have to schedule for another day which of course wasn't very doable on such short notice. They ended up arriving just before noon. Despite these inconveniences, overall I am very impressed with how smoothly the moving day itself went and how little it taxed me physically - very important with my medical conditions. Thank you!
