Knowlton Moving & Storage says it has provided moving and storage services from its headquarters in Warren for over 75 years, serving Mid-Coast Maine and beyond as local and commercial movers. A 2026 customer said three guys arrived on time with a big truck, worked quickly to wrap, load and transport everything to the new house, and got it right when the customer pointed out which things stayed and which went. A 2026 customer said they had Knowlton move a large antique desk, that the office stayed in touch throughout, and that everything was wrapped in protective cushioning, on time and for less than the estimate. A 2024 customer praised the movers' skill with the trucks around a low-hanging tree at the old house and low-hanging power lines on the street at the new one, and said the final cost came well within the quoted range. A 2023 customer said Knowlton moved them out of one house and out of storage into a new house, with a final cost well below the original estimate. On storage, a 2025 customer wrote that, unlike self-storage, you had to call ahead and pay a fee to access your things, but that it was inside and secure. A 2022 customer wrote that the company offered its warehouse and equipment once a month to unload a semitrailer for many local food pantries.
Three guys arrived on time with a big truck and worked quickly to wrap, load everything up, and transport it to the new house. They were professional and efficient. Our things were mixed in with the owner of the house we were renting, so I pointed out what stayed and what went. They got it perfectly right. I’m so glad we hired Knowlton to move us!
We had Knowlton move a large antique desk and were very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the team. The office stayed in touch with us throughout the process, and the guys took great care to wrap everything in protective cushioning. All of it on time and for less than the estimate. Would definitely use them again!
