Fifteen minutes, on the Fourth of July. That is what one Manchester-area customer reported waiting after calling KPG about an electrical emergency this summer, and the clock keeps showing up in these accounts: twenty-five minutes for an urgent call in April 2026, an hour on a weekend for a customer's grandmother, and the night before Thanksgiving in a 2025 review. Keith Gustafson runs the shop, sometimes with a helper or an apprentice, and his New Hampshire electrician licence, number 15640, is active in the state registry in his name. The work in the write-ups is ordinary house electrical done carefully: a panel upgrade in March 2026 where he also corrected another company's wiring so an electric water heater could go in, and handled the utility back-and-forth with Eversource; recessed lighting, fixtures and thermostats through a newly bought house in January 2026; a built-in oven-microwave installed into a cabinet in July 2026, with every function tested before the crew left. In an April 2026 review, a homeowner had a previous owner's bad light-and-switch wiring fixed without cutting into walls. The second-opinion stories are the ones worth reading twice. In an August 2025 review, a customer had been told by another electrician that a broken wire meant rewiring the house for thousands; Keith found and fixed the actual fault in under an hour. Another that month described being left five days without power or fixtures by a previous electrician who wanted the whole second floor rewired — the problem turned out to be minor and was cleared in about two hours. A 2024 customer with cut junctions and wires had three rooms rewired and the junctions consolidated to one accessible plate before drywall went up. The Better Business Bureau lists the business as accredited with an A+ grade and no complaints on file, and Google shows 4.9 stars across 75 ratings. One review pulls the other way, and it is about scheduling rather than wiring: a February 2026 customer waited weeks for a promised flood-light installation, was given a date, and nobody came — no call, no text, no email. Several happy customers describe being squeezed into an already stacked schedule, which is the same trait from the other side. Call him for an emergency, a panel, or the small job a bigger outfit will not book. For anything planned, get the date confirmed in writing and check in a few days ahead — that is where this shop's record is thinnest.
“We had KPG Electric LLC do some work for us early fall and they were great.”
KPG Electric did outstanding work installing an oven-microwave combination into a cabinet. They were professional, efficient and very careful working in the home's interior. When installation was complete, they fully checked out all the unit's functions and thoroughly cleaned up the work area. Five stars for KPG Electric!
Showed up quickly, found the issue in no time and made the repair. Great service.
Had an electrical emergency on 4th of July. KPG Electric arrived within 15 minutes from our call and was able to quickly and professionally solve the problem.
Keith is amazing. We called him after hours on an upcoming holiday weekend after being referred to him by our neighbor who told us how great he was . He came right over to help and fixed our issue within ten minutes and didn’t charge me a penny as he said it was an easy fix. He is our new electrician for sure! He saved us with the upcoming heat wave to get things working!
Kpg electric came to my house and changed a bad outlet. They were very nice and prompt and very quick at what they do. I would highly recommend this small company to anyone who needed any electrical work done.
