Lakeside Cleaning is a house-cleaning service, and a recent customer of a little over two years named the owner as Dawn and said she is quick to respond to texts. A recent customer said they have done business with Dawn and her crew for more than 6 years and called them reliable and reasonable. A 2025 customer said they had worked with Dawn and her team for more than 20 years, with bi-weekly cleanings plus deep seasonal jobs and move-out cleanings, and that she moved a couch to clean under it on the first cleaning. In 2024, an HOA property manager said Lakeside was hired for common area and clubhouse cleaning after bids from 3 other local companies. A 2023 customer said Dawn and her staff opened a summer camp, put out the outdoor furniture and cleaned up 9 months of dust. A recent customer said one of the cleaners broke a lamp next to the bed, the company said it was damaged previously, and the offer was less than half the lamp's value as a discount. A recent customer said they were charged 4 hours when staff were not on the property that long, and that the owner threatened court over the bill. A 2024 customer said no bill arrived for 5 weeks and then came as 2 separate bills calculated 2 different ways. A 2023 customer said Dawn charged $200 when roughly half the house was cleaned, citing new employees, and became rude when questioned.
Very disappointed. They did a good job cleaning but broke a lamp next to my bed while cleaning my house and when I tried to get compensation for the damage I was told it was damaged previously (which it wasn’t) and is old, no accountability for the damage. I know a lamp is a small thing to worry about but it is more the fact that there was no apology for the damage and immediate offer of a solution. Was offered less than half the value of the lamp as a discount and still no accepting that it happened from one of their cleaners. Will never use again and advise to search around before using this company.
