A cracked wood stove handle that could not be replaced is what one 2023 customer brought to Lebel's Heating & Sheet Metal for welding. That 2023 customer said they dropped it off right before closing, were told it could be done first thing the next morning, and it was ready the next day. The 2023 customer also wrote that they saved them from buying a new stove. A 2022 customer said the company did substantial work for them building a commercial kitchen and worked with them through some last minute adjustments. That 2022 customer called the work patient and sharp.
So going back to a couple of days ago, I had no idea you could just call up a local place that does welding and have them do a random job for you. My random job was a crack in the handle to my wood stove that was not replaceable and would mean needing to replace the ENTIRE stove if it broke all the way. So I called them up expecting them to laugh or have no idea what I was asking, but instead were friendly and willing to help. I then dropped it off right before closing and they said they could get to it first thing the next morning. Sure enough it was ready the next day. Now, I know nothing about welding and might have been a simple 2-minute job for them, but I was impressed with the friendliness and fast service. They also saved me from buying a new stove, so I am very grateful for that. If I ever need another random weld job, I now know who to ask!
Top rate company. Did some substantial work for us building a commercial kitchen and worked with us through some last minute adjustments. Patient and sharp work. Recommend highly!
