Ledo's Lawn Care

Four of Ledo's reviewers have had Dennis and his crew on their property for two years or more, and one of them ran a lawn care business himself before retiring — in February 2026 he wrote that he handed his own place over to that crew and singled out their honesty. Ledo's Lawn Care is owner-operated out of Fairhaven; its own site says it is not a franchise and is run by people who live in the community it serves, and it sells seasonal maintenance programs — mowing, aeration, overseeding, dethatching, mulch, bed maintenance and spring and fall cleanups — to homes and businesses around the South Coast. What customers describe is that full seasonal round. A March 2026 customer of a couple of years had blizzard-damaged trees cut down and the stumps taken out. In February 2026, one reviewer wrote about mowing at their mother's place in Dartmouth along with shrub pruning and a leaf cleanup, and another about two years of winter cleanups and spring prep. A May 2026 customer had a lot of brush and briars cleaned out and removed. Price comes up in several reviews: a June 2026 customer called the service very reasonable, and three February 2026 reviewers called the prices fair, one comparing Ledo's favorably with other lawn services. The exception is an April 2026 one-star review. That customer hired them for mowing, edging and landscaping, called the experience disappointing across the board, and said weeds were not properly removed and no adequate barrier or screening was installed before mulching. Two things to settle before you sign up. Angi and HomeAdvisor describe the company as veteran-owned and family-owned with over 30 years of experience, while its own site describes it as owner-operated — worth asking Dennis directly if any of that matters to you. And if your job is bed work rather than mowing, pin down exactly what prep is included before the mulch goes down.
