The company says it has been at it in Needham and the surrounding towns since 2002, and the Better Business Bureau lists Michael Lenahan as president of a four-person corporation. The written record is small. Google shows a 4.2 average across just five ratings, and only one carries any text — a November 2021 account from a homeowner who said a rock thrown from the crew's equipment broke a large storm window, and that when they raised it, the crew told them in vulgar terms that it was not their problem. That is one voice, five years old, but it is specific and it is about how a problem got handled rather than about the mowing. Everything else is the company's own description plus a clean A+ grade from the BBB, which has no complaints or reviews on file for them. The paperwork is tidy; the customer accounts are thin. One small wrinkle: the BBB dates the business to 1997 while the company's own site and Houzz page both say 2002. Not a red flag, just a question worth asking if tenure matters to you. For routine maintenance or a stone walkway around Needham and Metro West, they are a reasonable call. Ask what happens if something on your property gets damaged — get the insurance certificate and the answer before the crew rolls in.
