Seven permitted projects show on its BuildZoom page in all, the most recent a fire restoration — a full gut of a Malden unit at $210,000, filed in November 2025. Richard Cifuni is listed as the owner, with Richard A Cifuni as construction supervisor. The registration is the thing to settle first. BuildZoom shows Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence #163787 as inactive and expired since July 2019, notes the state at one point listed it as cancelled, and says it re-checked in April 2026 and still found it expired — which is why the profile carries a score of 0 and a licence alert. That is the directory's account, not something confirmed against the registry here, so check the current status yourself with Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. No customer has reviewed the company there, and nothing else is written about it anywhere we looked, so there is no basis for judging how the finished work turns out. If the multi-unit renovation history is what you need, ask for addresses and references from those jobs, and for current registration and insurance in writing before any money moves.
