We recently had our old solar system replaced by Local Solar & Electric. Daniel, Jake and Jim were all outstanding. They were highly skilled and knowledgeable in both the various components of the system and the installation process as well as the solar industry. They shared an enthusiasm in their work and how it would benefit us as a client. Their willingness and ability to translate the steps of the installation to us made us feel at ease. They set a schedule and stuck to it. Each day they arrived on time, were respectful of our property and fully cleaned up at the end of the day. They would always tell us the objective for the day and provide an update upon completion of the tasks. Certain steps that they took made their service elite. For example, they re-used the rails from the original installation fifteen years earlier. This saved the step of patching old holes in the roof and making new ones for new rails, therefore, eliminating the risk of a potentially leaking roof at the patches. They identified damage to the old system and the roof from squirrels and took the steps necessary to repair the damage during the installation. Finally, Local Solar & Electric was very aware of the time pressures to turn on the new system in order to get the full federal tax credit allowed through 2025. They managed their process and the inspection process with the town to ensure completion in time to allow us to benefit from the full tax credit. In addition to the superior work ethic and results of the project, we liked working with Local Solar & Electric. They treated us with respect and we enjoyed having them at our house. They are good guys that do excellent work. We would recommend them to our family and friends.

My husband and I built a very large home in West Greenwich, RI, and spoke with several solar providers to determine the best solution for heating and electricity. Local Solar & Electric stood out from the start. They took the time to educate us on the different options available and helped us choose the most efficient system for our home. Jim and his crew arrived fully prepared with all of the engineering plans, permits, and equipment, and immediately got to work. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism they demonstrated throughout the entire project. The work was completed on schedule and within budget. I would highly recommend Local Solar & Electric to anyone considering a solar project!
