Lynch is the kind of landscaping and tree-service company homeowners call for both routine yard care and difficult outdoor projects. Houzz lists landscape construction, hardscaping, landscape maintenance, garden design, patios, planting, masonry and related outdoor work, and describes the company as family-owned. Recent and older Google reviewers describe crews handling tree removal near power lines, dangerous-tree work, drainage-challenged lawns, seasonal cleanups, mowing, planting, irrigation and complete yard redesigns. A 2023 reviewer described two large-tree removals, including one grown into electric wires, as professional and successful; another detailed a multi-tree project involving a crane and trees threatening a house and pool house. Long-term customers also describe recurring firewood delivery, branch cleanup, mosquito and tick spraying, and dependable response over many years. There are clear cautions to discuss before booking. A 2022 lawn-fertilization reviewer described persistent lawn loss and an unhelpful diagnosis, while another reported unanswered calls when seeking full lawn service. One reviewer also alleged severe damage to a mature crabapple during unrelated yard service, and another complained about unsafe driving. These are specific older complaints, so ask who will perform the work, what is included, how lawn problems will be diagnosed, and how concerns are escalated. Lynch looks best suited to homeowners seeking a broad outdoor-service provider, especially for landscape construction, maintenance and tree work. Confirm the exact scope, crew responsibilities and follow-up process in writing before the job starts.
Lynch removed an old concrete walkway and shrubs and installed a new bluestone cut walkway and shrubs and the project was very well done.
They destroyed my tree. They literally weren't even there to prune or cut trees, but as a "bonus" to the yard service, the guy lopped every single branch off a 60-70 year old beautiful crabapple that I loved. It took about 30 seconds and a chainsaw, and I was left with an amputated snag in its place. Whatever you are picturing, it was worse. The dude was like "Oh but look how much more sunshine you can get on your lawn now". I hate lawns and was planning to get rid of mine (and have). Awful, awful, awful. The tree had a gorgeous spreading, draping canopy in the corner of my yard. It was so beautiful. Later, the manager was like "How can we make this right?" Well.. you can't glue limbs back on a tree, can you? It's destroyed, so there's no making it right. They sent me an invoice for that day too, btw. I'm sure it was autogenerated, but still. I didn't pay it and told them why, and they agreed. That doesn't make it 'right' that just means I at least didn't *pay* for the honor of having a beloved and healthy tree, probably worth tens of thousands of dollars, being destroyed.
Lynch is always a huge help when we’re doing our Christmas Tree fundraiser at LS! We truly appreciate all the help from Lynch. Thank you for helping our community!
When we moved to Wellesley Hills in 2019, we inherited the services of Lynch Landscape and Tree Services from the previous owners and continued with them. We have been most impressed with the excellent level of service by their landscape and snow removal services. Richele Miller has been outstanding in her role as the Landscape Supervisor. In 2025, we decided to completely redesign and have our back patio rebuilt, and chose Lynch Build/Design for this project. Andrew Reilly, our designer, was exceptional - very attentive at all our meetings and throughout the entire project. It was a major project that involved removing the current patio flooring and walls and redesigning and expanding the flooring of the patio and adding walls, lighting and an irrigation system. Construction Manager Tony Soave provided exceptional oversight and updates along the way. The Lynch team that performed the work were very professional and completed the work with attention to detail, each step of the way. Our communication with Tamy Tiongson, the Operations/Business Development Manager, was very helpful as she was receptive and timely with all of her communications. We love our new patio and are excited to spend time with family and friends when spring arrives.
We worked with the Lynch design and construction teams to make comprehensive changes to our property. Regrading, boulder wall construction, walkway/entrance, and many other associated improvements. Don't expect Lynch to be the lowest estimate, but their services are commensurate with their pricing. They were professional, communicative, and autonomous. They made good design decisions and didn't haggle about anything - they just did the job well with diligent and competent crews. We've worked with other landscapers and contractors, and Lynch is top notch.
