In a 2023 r/maine thread, a commenter joked that Mark Wright disposal offers "double your trash back!" A May 2022 Google reviewer also mentioned the company's funny radio slogan. Mark Wright Construction & Disposal is based on US-1 in Columbia, Maine, and holds 4.5 stars from 42 Google ratings. In November 2021 a customer described delivery and pick-up as quick and efficient, with a polite, friendly driver who answered their questions. In a July 2022 review, a customer said Mark Wright has been prompt with its services. In December 2021 a customer wrote that they would never again bring scrap metal there, saying the scales were off and they were paid only half of what the scrap was worth at that day's market price.
“I think it's Mark Wright disposal, Satisfaction guaranteed or double your trash back!”
“JONESBORO, Maine — The gates opened this week on a new privately owned transfer station in the Washington County community of Jonesboro that is accepting trash at 8 cents a pound and is paying 4 cents a pound for metal.”
I hereby annul any contract with my name on it!
