For starters, I wouldn't use any other paving contractor than Chris Martin. He's a consummate professional who is extremely invested in the quality of his work product. During the estimate, he explained in detail their extensive process of repaving our driveway, which consisted of complete removal of our current driveway; laying & compacting 8-12 inches of crushed gravel; and then laying and compacting 3" of ashpalt with attention to grading for proper water runoff. He was also attentive to our desire not to have the new driveway higher than our yard, brick walkways to the house, and brick surround of our gardens. His approach was far more thorough than any other contractor we contacted, and his estimate (including a 3% senior discount) was very reasonable by comparison. The work was scheduled within a week, and he delivered on every detail. He works with the crew, and they remarkably completed our large driveway in less than a day. After the work was done, he gave detailed instructions of how best to maintain the new driveway, especially the timing of when to allow cars, light trucks, and heavy trucks on the surface. Moreover, he responded immediately to a few subsequent questions, and even offered to come back to fix any damage to the surface during the 4-6 weeks after the work was completed. In short, it should be obvious that we recommend Chris Martin without any reservation.

They were great. Reasonable price. Completed driveway, hauled away old driveway. I now have a brand new driveway. Recommend them for you.

Chris and his crew did an excellent job and would highly recommend. Communication was great and he really went above and beyond to get things done the right way for us and not just rush through the job. Only company I would use.
