Master Elite Construction

In October 2026 a Google reviewer wrote that Master Elite Construction had just completed a full roof replacement on their house and detached garage: a complete tear off, all-new CDX plywood decking, and Owens Corning shingles with extensive ice and water shielding. When they pointed out one slightly lifted shingle after the install, the crew came out immediately to fix it. That reviewer named Ethan as their contact and the owner, Luis, as the one who built the crew. The Rockland, ME company holds 5 stars from 101 Google ratings and 5.0 from 96 on Thumbtack, and says it handles roofing, siding and gutters for homes and commercial buildings across a stretch of the Midcoast and central Maine from Boothbay Harbor to Waterville. In June 2026 a customer who got 4 quotes wrote that Jose and crew showed up on time, stopped only for lunch and finished a 35sq roof and shed in 1 day, and called Ethan and Luis straight and honest. A June 2026 reviewer said their 2000+ square foot house was done in one day, including replacing six skylights. In a September 2026 review, a customer described a presentation that covered every aspect of roof replacement, no sales pressure, a company that encouraged them to get at least three bids, and a drone used to inspect the roof and show them the work before, during and after. A July 2026 reviewer had a persistent roof leak the original builder failed to fix numerous times; Master Elite diagnosed the issue and installed new step flashing on the front porch. In a May 2026 review, a customer wrote that Luis and his crew resided their home and barn. Another May 2026 customer had the house completely vinyl sided and a new roof put on within one day midway through that project. A June 2025 reviewer hired Luis and his team to remove non-working wooden gutters, cut back the roof overhang, lay a rubber roof over the porch and install wooden shingles on the back of a federal-period home, and said Luis did the initial on-site inspection during a snowstorm. In August 2026 a Thumbtack customer wrote that nobody showed up for a 9am appointment confirmed twice by text and email; in an update the same customer said Luis called and they rescheduled for the next day, and guessed a system glitch had canceled the appointment.
