In a 2020 review, a customer said Mathewson replaced a culvert and patched the driveway, exactly on budget with no surprises, and finished ahead of schedule. In a 2019 review, a customer who had been trying for weeks to get plumbers out for a broken sewer pipe called Mathewson on a Friday afternoon, with a huge snowstorm about to hit the next day; that customer said they came right out, fixed everything that afternoon and evening, and stayed past dinner time until the job was done. In a 2018 review, a customer whose below-ground garage flooded every spring said Phil's crew arrived early and finished their part of the job in two days, and that after the spring thaw there was no water in the garage for the first time. In another 2018 review, a customer caught in snowstorm Grayson in Hancock said Stephanie had a plow guy out within an hour to plow the rest of the driveway.
