McCarthy Tree Service, Inc.

Mark gave me a fair estimate on several trees that I had concerns with. He and his crew have a top notch work ethic. I was impressed with the results and would highly recommend him.

My wife and I just used McCarthy Tree Service for the first time to take down a large, old, diseased maple in a trickly location on the border of our house lot in Portland, overhanging my garage and stretching into a neighbor's yard. Mark and his crew were simply excellent: skilled, careful, punctual, friendly, easy to deal with starting from scheduling an estimate, and good post-removal cleanup. His wife Susan handles the office/administrative aspect, and was also timely, responsive and easy to deal with. Very satisfied.

WOW! What service! Mark the owner came and gave me an estimate which was fair and clear. Then we had a BLIZZARD on the day they were scheduled, but they came two days later and the job was done! The site was clean and everything just as expected, but better! Great folks to work with, I will definitely be using McCarthy Tree whenever I have tree work or brush clearing again. The yard looks great and I am excited for spring! Thank you.

Mark and his team are great! They’re easy to work with, offer a fair price, and work in a timely manner. Would be happy to hire them again!

I had Mark McCarthy and his crew here to handle a very large tree-removal project. I had 18 large ash trees that needed to be removed due to being struck by the ash borer disease. They did a fabulous job on a difficult site that spanned both my land and the neighbor behind me. Mark was responsive to all my questions, worked with me on the timing of the job, and included the removal of a great deal of bittersweet. His price was very fair and lower than other quotes I received. The site was left in decent condition, considering the difficulty of getting the trees cut down. All trees were removed from the site and all scrap was chipped. They completed the job in two days. Mark was very easy to work with and his crew were as well---very polite and responsive. Besides the good job done, he also offered to help me get my replacement trees planted. They did a terrific job with this as well. I highly recommend McCarthy Tree service for tree removal/cutting.
