Mike Antoon has been putting his own name on the work since 1981 - Carpenter, Designer, Installer, in that order - and the business has changed shape along the way. On Angi he is now listed as Mike Antoon Design Consultant, offering interior space planning, kitchen design and bathroom design, with his own About text describing him as semi-retired. His Houzz profile still sells the full build: kitchen and bath renovation, basements, cabinet and countertop installation, tile, plus 3D renderings, floor plans and drafting. Both pages are him, run from the same Methuen address on Bearse Avenue. Which version you get is the first thing to settle on the phone. The written history is short, consistent, and mostly old. Eight accounts across Houzz and Angi over eight years, every one of them five stars: six on Houzz dating to 2017, and two more from late 2025 filed under kitchen design. The recent pair line up with the design-and-cabinetry direction Angi describes rather than general contracting. Nothing critical appears on either page - but there is also very little volume behind that, and no Google or BBB history sitting alongside it. Credentials are where to press. Houzz prints a construction-supervisor-style number for him, CLS 026645, but that is Houzz's own listing rather than a confirmed status, and Angi's licensing section carries no number at all - just the word Insured, under Angi's own notice that everything there is self-reported. His Angi bio claims 44 years as a licensed GC and master carpenter, while the same page's highlights say 45 and Houzz says more than 35 since 1981. Ask him directly for his construction supervisor number and his home improvement contractor registration, then check both with the state before signing anything. He suits a homeowner who wants a designer with a cabinetmaker's habits - someone to draw the kitchen, plan how it goes together, and hand a buildable set of plans to installers. If you need a general contractor to run the whole renovation, confirm he is still taking that work at all before you get attached to the idea.

Mike designed all cabinetry for my custom home... kitchen, 4 baths and my laundry room. His attention to detail is second to none! Even better - he listens and actually HEARD what I wanted. His suggestions and added finishing touches took the design from fine to extraordinary! He is also a cabinet maker and while he wears the design hat - he is always thinking about how installers will work with and install his designs. I am likely building another home in the near term and I won't use anyone but Mike Antoon! (Angi records a job cost of $100,000 on this review.)

We hired mike to design and make our rooms functional for us. This was a big undertaking for us a kitchen sunroom and great room were what we wanted and a flow for our home that was functional for us but workable with my disabilitys that I have and for our future living here. Mike sat down with us designed what we wanted and helped us through the bumps in the road that occurred with professionalism. Mike and Paul were always on time, hard working and his subs were of top Quality. Our house was always left clean at the end of each day. I wish we could give more stars we smile and love our new spaces and would recommend him to others. If you are fortunate to have Mike do your Dream you won't be sorry. Mike goes over and above his craftsmanship and vision are top knotch. Thanks to Mike and his detail to his work it shows in every aspect of our new kitchen, sunroom and great room. Wow. Thanks

Approximately 3 years ago we hired Mike Antoon to add a laundry and sunroom with a full basement to the back of our split entry home. We also ask him to renovate the downstairs for our daughter, complete with bathroom, front to back living and bedroom areas. The mudroom was transformed into an office area. Mike was very attentive to details and made many suggestions, such as an in-wall ironing board, work sink, storage and hanging areas for laundry. The windows are beautiful, and we enjoy watching the birds feeding in the yard. We were 110% satisfied with Mike's work ethics.

Mike did an outstanding job remodeling my cottage on Forest lake. He completed adding a loft to an otherwise open space, gutted and remodeled the kitchen, and remodeled my guest bathroom. In addition, during his time working at my home, he fixed may small problems, some created by other contractors I had hired to work on my home. His attention to detail and care for the end product was amazing. I highly recommend Mike for any home improvement project.
