Move and Care is a Woburn-based moving company that works Boston-area local moves alongside long-distance jobs — reviewers describe runs to Brooklyn, Vermont, and cross-country, and the company's own site says it also covers Austin, Charlotte, and parts of California. It describes itself as having been 'in the business of moving clients for many years,' though it gives no specific founding date. The clearest thing to know: 107 Google reviews average 4.8 stars, and the same short list of names keeps turning up across dozens of them — Tony, Oskar, Alex, Sergei — which points to a fairly steady in-house crew rather than a rotating cast of subcontractors. In the last six months, eight reviews came in and seven were five-star, praising careful handling on tight, hard-to-access moves with no damage even on multi-flight jobs. The one real complaint worth flagging from that same recent window: a cross-country move from California to Chicago in May 2026 that went sideways — a delivery window that kept shifting, belongings shifted onto a holding truck, a crew the reviewer called openly rude, and damage that never got addressed. It's not an isolated theme either: an older Google review accused the company of quoting one price and demanding more once the crew showed up, and a HomeAdvisor complaint described a final bill thousands over the original estimate with no explanation given. That same HomeAdvisor page is genuinely split — one reviewer flatly called the company a scam over driveway damage, while most others there gave it five stars. Its Better Business Bureau listing shows an A rating and accreditation held since 2018, alongside six complaints on file — not nothing, but not unusual for a mover handling this volume of jobs. A couple of smaller, older third-party sites score it noticeably lower than Google, though one of those ratings rests on just two reviews and shouldn't be weighted the same as the deeper Google and HomeAdvisor history. Worth asking before booking: get the estimate in writing and confirm whether it's binding, since the recurring complaint here isn't about the packing or the driving — it's about the number changing after the truck shows up. For a cross-country move or an awkward access point (narrow stairwells, a tight driveway, heavy furniture), the recent reviews suggest this is a crew that's handled it before; just pin down the price beforehand.

These guys are awesome. Have moved quite a bit with the Army, and these guys are far away the best movers I've ever had. So fast and efficient...no damages and extremely careful not to scuff paint or flooring. No nonsense. 💪 Have used them for two moves and will continue to use for all future moves within Boston. Highly recommend!

Oskar did an excellent job handling our interstate move from Beverly, MA to Brooklyn, NY. He was professional, efficient, and very careful with all of our belongings, which made a long‑distance relocation much less stressful. I’d gladly recommend him for any interstate move.

Oskar and Tigran did a great job with our local move from Chelmsford to South Boston. They were punctual, efficient, and careful with all of our belongings, which made the whole local move smooth and stress‑free. I’d be happy to recommend this team.

I recently used Move and Care Moving Company for a move in the Boston area, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The crew showed up right on time, worked hard from start to finish, and treated my furniture and boxes with real care. They were friendly, professional, and knew exactly what they were doing, even with the tight streets and parking challenges around the city. The whole move was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. It’s not easy to find movers you can truly trust, but these guys exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone in Greater Boston looking for dependable movers.
