One customer called on a Friday morning about a dryer hookup that previous service people couldn't fix because of a tight location, and the technician was at the house that afternoon. He drove 20 minutes to the nearest Home Depot, bought a nine-dollar part and quickly returned to fix the problem, then switched which way the dryer door opened so it would not hit the woodwork. For a GE dryer the customer called a fire hazard, Nijat came out, diagnosed and repaired it for a fair price the same day as the call; GE's repair team had offered to come a week later. When a Sub Zero ice maker had to be replaced, Nijat ordered a new one and installed it, and when the unit then froze and clumped, he came out within a day or so and fixed the problem. A Kitchenaid dishwasher that was not draining correctly is running properly again after Nijat diagnosed it. The technician who looked at one customer's washer diagnosed the transmission and said that, given the cost of the repair, the customer would be better off replacing it. At one home the technician said the problem was not the dryer but possibly a clogged air duct system, recommended a duct cleaning company and did not charge for the visit. A 1-star Google reviewer said the initial inspection covered only one of two issues and the resolution was vague. On Thumbtack, a 2-star customer said they were told a refrigerator noise was normal and were not really told how to fix it.
