Nearby Repair Guy describes itself on its website as a team of handyman contractors offering handyman and property maintenance services to residential and commercial customers, and says it has over 15 years on the job. A recent Google customer says he put in a swing chair in their living room, even with an old house and DIY renovations to work around. A 2026 customer who bought a house in Maine but does not live near it said they found Brett online and called him skilled, fair and reliable. A 2025 customer said Brett had done several jobs for them, that their kitchen and bathroom were exactly as they wanted them, and that his prices were reasonable. A 2025 reviewer who needed several projects done said all 7 were completed, some of them redoing mistakes made by other contractors, in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. A 2023 customer said it was the third year Brett had done work at their house, and that he and Pat had just put in a new shower along with a bunch of other little things.
