Nelson Ramos

Nelson Ramos is a one-person landscaping and fencing operation working out of Everett, Massachusetts, four years into the trade according to its Thumbtack profile. By his own account, he installs and repairs wood, vinyl and chain-link fencing, plants trees, handles general landscaping, and clears snow. The written record is thin but consistent: two Thumbtack reviews, both five stars. One homeowner had hundreds of bulbs planted in a few hours at a fair price and said she'd hire him again; another called the job an excellent experience with great work done. He's been hired once through the platform and has passed a Thumbtack background check, with 16 project photos posted to the profile. Worth knowing before calling: the review history is short — just two ratings on file — so there isn't much of a track record to lean on yet beyond those two jobs.
