A recent Reddit commenter on r/newhampshire wrote that of the 10 contractors who came out, New England Paving was the best quote and seemingly the most knowledgeable about what they needed done. A recent Google reviewer who said they were not a customer, only a witness to work across the road, wrote that pulling the pavement, hauling it away and leveling took four hours. A 2024 customer said Sam came in early, tore up the old pavement and laid new asphalt, which included a 20x20 add-on and drainage pipes. A 2023 customer said the project took less than 6 hours and named Sam as the owner and Ray as the job-site foreman. A 2018 Angi reviewer said the entire driveway project was completed in less than a day. A recent customer said he was due at the house at 10, showed up some other time, then told the customer to work with someone else and hung up. A 2026 customer said one of the company's trucks damaged a mailbox and that, after several messages over 4 months, the $200 repair had not been paid. A 2025 Angi reviewer said the company damaged the reviewer's outdoor HVAC condensers during the paving project and that they had to file a claim for over $7K in damages. A 2025 customer said a driveway the company did about 2 years earlier had a crack the width of the driveway and had started to crumble.
