When the snow piled up on Greater Boston roofs early in 2026, New Stage Roofing was the number people called. A February 2026 reviewer whose furnace vents were buried on a new-construction home — the heat had gone out — said the crew responded within 24 hours and cleared their three-story steep roof. Another phoned on a Sunday morning and had a crew out the next day. A third had every bit of snow and ice taken off a large north-facing roof in two hours, and a condominium manager had a whole building, flat and sloped sections both, cleared in about six hours. The Natick company says it has been doing this since 2008, working across MetroWest on roofs, siding, gutters, windows, doors, decks and chimney repointing. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, as is the construction supervisor licence held by Jose L. Mizhirumbay, and its Better Business Bureau page is an A+ with accreditation dating to 2013. The site describes the company as a GAF Master Elite and CertainTeed Master Craftsman contractor. Roofing is the main line, and the reviews cover its range. In a June 2026 review, Pablo's crew stripped old shingles and installed CertainTeed architectural shingles, laying plywood on one side of the house where there was no sheathing at all. A March 2026 customer had a roof replaced in a day and gutters two days later. A July 2026 homeowner who needed only a small repair was handed options instead of a pitch for the new roof they already know is a few years off. Another in March 2026 filled out the online request one evening about shingles blown off in the wind, got a call first thing the next morning, an estimate that day, and the job finished a couple of days later. What turns up once the shingles come off gets dealt with: an October 2023 garage-roof customer described three layers of asphalt stripped and a fair amount of rotted wood restored, and a September 2025 Thumbtack customer had problems found during the installation, mildew among them, repaired as part of the job. The exception in this history is a May 2023 Angi review rated half a star. That customer described a badly run job — a supervisor they said needed more training, seven separate trips for supplies, a dumpster that arrived late — and said they called Manuel Hernandez to get a boss on site. It is three years old, but it is a fair thing to raise: ask who supervises your job and how materials and the dumpster are scheduled.
