“Newington Electric service it for me and have said they’ve had similar issues with the same model at other homes.”
Newington Electric installed heating coils on our roofline to prevent ice dams. James and James did a great job! They did everything as specified and took the time to ensure we were on the same page regarding where the cables and conduits ran. They were polite, punctual, timely, and careful of our property. Outstanding communication from the techs and from April, who gave us the initial estimate. I highly recommend them for this service.
I have nothing but great things to say about Newington Electric Company. I called on Wednesday regarding an electrical issue in my dad's bathroom. I was given a next day window between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.. At exactly 2:00, their van pulled up, they were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and within half an hour, the issue was fixed and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend them. I had never needed an electrician before and didn't know what to expect overall. I am grateful to them for getting the job done fast and for a really good price.
I've used Newington Electric for a couple of jobs. I have been very happy with the service and with cost. I definitely would recommend them if you need electrical services.
Have had service with the company for several years which has been fine. We discussed putting a pad under the generator and the date scheduled was cancelled due to rain that week. The rescheduled date on the Monday I was called and I said we can not do that date and would contact them in the Fall to discuss another date. Received and invoice for 198 for "missed appointment" no idea how I missed an appointment that wasn't scheduled nor did anyone ever knock on our door to say they were there for an appointment. Either way asked for an apology and rescinding of the invoice.
The website’s claims of free estimates are false. It is a $200 site visit fee before inspecting the premises. No self-set pricing is accepted as stated on their website also; the quoted figure was excessive.
