Newtown Junk Removal, LLC

Nobody would take the cast iron bathtub left over from one customer's walk-in tub installation — it was too heavy. Newtown Junk Removal came out several days later with a low boy dump trailer, and that recent customer said it was gone in several minutes. The company says it has been in business 13 years, and its stated service area runs from Newtown, Bethel, Brookfield and Danbury to Ridgefield, Redding, Greenwich and Shelton. Its website lists furniture, appliance, mattress, hot tub and piano removal among its services. On Google it holds a 5-star rating from 296 ratings. One customer called on a Monday afternoon and they came the very next day. A customer who needed a sofa and a 9-piece sectional with a sleeper gone said the pricing was worth getting all those pieces out of the house. One family used the company to move a daughter into an apartment, to pack and move a mother's home and then to clean out its own home, and called the team reliable, honest and respectful. A recent customer wrote that, other than the junk removed, you couldn't tell they had been there. A recent customer said that in 2022 the company removed many items from a relative's home after she passed away and listened well to what was to be junked and what was kept. A 2025 customer said the company tore down two old barn structures on the property and had everything cleaned up in one day. A 2025 customer living in California said Gary handled the removal of items from two storage units for a fair price. A 2023 customer clearing out a garage said they called at 11 am about a refrigerator and the company arrived by 2:00 the same day. A 2021 customer said the estimate was spot on and the crew was done and gone in less than 30 minutes.
