Northern Home & Excavation LLC

Northern Home & Excavation LLC moves dirt, fixes driveways and plows snow. Its website lists excavation, foundation excavation, land clearing, grading, gravel driveway repairs, utility work and septic tank services, and the company says it has been in business 8 years. A recent customer said Dana and Chris prepped the site for a 30' x 30' garage and met minor changes in plans with acceptance. A recent customer said Dana coordinated with all the parties and the water department to replace a water service line at a seasonal beach cottage, installed to code, and restored the shared driveway. A recent customer said Dana and his crew built a firepit, resurfaced their driveway, added a drainage ditch and plowed after every snow. A recent customer said the job was finished ahead of schedule, with billing transparency. A recent customer said Dana has plowed their driveway at the end of a long private road for a few years, sands and shovels when needed, and texts updates on his plow timing. A recent customer said they called Dana for driveway sanding after a 2025 storm, that he made an exception to his mostly commercial work and added their condo to his route, and that they are moving their plowing to the company for 2026/27. A recent 1-star customer said Dana was rude in person and damaged their driveway by putting his snow plow down, and said he later telephoned them about their Google review. That customer also said an earlier negative review had been reset with Google. The BBB grades the company D+ and lists one complaint.
