I cannot recommend Northern Landscape Construction enough! We had engaged another contractor who decided to walk away from the project halfway through (he didn’t like us questioning his demands for repeated payments up front, early in the project). In a panic I looked for another company and luckily chose NLC. Steven is not only approachable, accommodating, and hardworking, he is a true professional. Watching him lay mortared brick steps was like watching an artist at work... meticulous, patient, and dedicated to the integrity of the project. He is friendly and collaborative, and very fair and reasonable in his pricing. It didn’t take us long to realize our former contractor did us a huge favor by leaving; comparing his slipshod work to Steve’s is absolutely glaring in its discrepancy. It has been a definite win-win for us. I would hire Steve to handle any hardscaping or landscaping job. In fact, we were so pleased early on, we added a large job to this one (setting a bluestone floor in a large porch). And he is currently compiling estimates for at least four more projects we are planning for the fall and next spring. Do yourselves a favor – Call or email Steve at Northern Landscape Construction before you call anyone else. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Excellent job with my walk way. Very prompt and responsive. Showed up and completed the work timely. Went above and beyond and was very easy to work with

We used Stephen for a recent project at our home. He was extremely easy to work with, his prices were great, and his work was even better! Loom forward to using him again in the future!
