A 50 amp hookup for an RV, plus power and lighting for a new shed: that is the most recent job a customer described for Northern Nomad Electrical Services. That recent customer said Mick was professional and punctual. A recent customer said Mike did multiple jobs in their home, from replacing the grounds in the main breaker box to installing ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The company says it specializes in custom electrical needs, service changes, portable generators, EV charging and small-scale solar. Michael N. Verpaelst's Maine electrician license, MS60022147, is active on the state registry. A 2026 customer said Mick and his team performed a whole service and meter upgrade in a single day, coordinated with the power company and came way up north to their property when others wouldn't. A 2025 customer said Mick was at their home within two hours of a call about an outlet that sparked and burnt out, after a cancellation opened a slot. A 2023 customer said Mike wired a polycarbonate greenhouse, replaced old wiring and light fixtures in a barn, installed a generator backfeed plug and set up a small solar system for their cabin. In 2022, a customer wrote that Northern Nomad did power and data cabling, panel and sub panel termination and fixture installation in a 200 year old farmhouse renovation.
Mick is a very standup and honorable guy, worth every penny
Mick did electrical work for us. Hooked up a 50 amp service for our RV, added electrical to our new shed along with lighting. He was very professional and punctual. Thank you Mick for a great job done!
I have had Mike come in my home and do multiple jobs for me from replacing out the grounds in the main breaker box to installing ceiling fans in the bedrooms. He was always prompt, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!!
Mick and his team were on time, attentive to every detail and very reasonable with pricing. Performed a whole service / meter upgrade in a single day. Coordinated for us with the power company and was willing to come way up north to our property when others wouldn’t. Professional service, neat and clean during and afterwards…which says something about how they treat your property like it’s their own. Can’t recommend him more, excellent job!
I called yesterday morning around 10:00AM about an outlet that sparked and burnt out. Due to a cancellation Mick was able to be there working on the problem within two hours. He finished shortly afterward. He was prompt, professional, and affordable. Thanks Mick!
