Northern Waste is listed at 6 Plummer Road in Bedford, New Hampshire, for junk-removal and waste-pickup work. The available customer account describes a scheduled garbage pickup, so the business appears to have handled recurring residential trash service rather than a one-time hauling job. The only detailed customer account is from November 2021 and is negative. The homeowner put garbage out for a Monday pickup, but it was still there at 6 PM; emails went unanswered, a phone call reached a message saying Verizon had suspended the account, and the website was gone. The customer suspected the small operation had also gone out of business, though they were not billed beyond the last pickup and received two trash receptacles. Before booking, confirm that Northern Waste is currently operating, accepting customers, answering calls, and providing a written pickup schedule. The dated review describes a failed collection and loss of contact, so current availability and service continuity are the key questions. This may suit someone seeking local waste pickup only if the company can verify that it is active today. Ask for a current service agreement, pickup day, billing terms, and a working contact before leaving material for collection.
Not quite sure what happened. Put my garbage out one Sunday night for Monday pickup and at 6 PM Monday night it was still there. E-mails go unanswered, phone call gets you a message about Verizon suspending their account, and their website is gone. I suspect that the business, which I think was a small operation, is also gone. At least I wasn't billed beyond my last pick-up and got two trash receptacles out of it. As I am sure Northern is not coming back, I called Buckley and they had me set up in 5 minutes.
